Lime Essential Oil

Lime essential oil uses

It may be zingy, but there’s something sweet about the top note fragrance of lime essential oil, and it blends well with other oils. When added to a diffuser blend or a homemade room mist, lime oil helps to lift the spirit and energise a space. It’s a great scent for inspiring a positive outlook and embracing fresh starts.

Thanks to its powerful antibacterial elements, it is often applied topically to cuts and grazes. Many aromatherapists keep a bottle in their family first aid kit in case of bumps and scrapes. Pop a few drops of lime oil onto a cold flannel and apply to the wound (do not apply directly) to help promote healing and stop the spread of bacteria.
